Fortunately I do not have to eat humble pie tonight, the Mighty Adelaide Crows having beaten North Melbourne by one point. With 10 minutes to go and 30 points down I thought we were goners but the boys came back in championship style. From 11th to 6th on the ladder in one foul swoop, knocking Port Power out of the top 8, keep it up boys and do the fans and yourselves proud.
Speaking of humble pie Brian did some baking today, he made lime tarts and a peach slice, a mighty fine effort as well. I must say that Brian’s culinary skills have come a long way, today he even cleaned up his own mess. :)
Sunday night television is becoming boring, I used to like Escape to the Country but tonight’s episode was boring with a capital B so I did not even finish watching it. The Block was not bad but as for everything else, that is why I am upstairs blogging a bit earlier than usual.
There is not much more to say tonight other than a brief word about the racial vilification slur against Adam Goodes of the Sydney Swans during Friday night’s AFL game. The person who delivered the slur was a 14 year-old-girl, and although nothing can excuse her actions I have to wonder what her home life is like, either way enough has been said, let’s move on.
Goodnight and thank you for reading.
